Description   The use of stainless steel components makes the Olympian the ultimate system in terms of durability. Stainless steel will never rust even in the harshest conditions. Manufactured in the USA, the Olympian boasts the highest level of craftsmanship of any goal on the market. The Olympian has a 1/4″ thick 6″x8″ square post. The adjustment mechanism allows the goal to be cranked down to as low as 5’6″ so even the youngest of players can work on their game. The Olympian utilizes two “Spring Assist” mechanisms, developed by First Team, to aid in raising and lowering the rim height of the goal. When the rim height is at 10′, the distance from the backboard to the post is 48″. The Olympian is mounted to the ground using a bolt down anchor system. This system is much easier to install than direct bury poles and, additionally, allows the goal to be relocated if that is ever needed. The stainless steel components are covered with an attractive thick black powder coating. The Olympian comes with either a full-size tempered glass or clear acrylic backboard.
