A Vast and Highly Decorative Mahogany Four Poster Bed

We are offering for sale this extraordinary, quality mahogany vintage four poster bed of truly vast proportions.   Measuring 9ft high x 88 inches long and 76 inches wide the bed comes in good structural condition. Currently dressed in vintage fabric which the new owner may wish to refresh the previous owner covered the headboard in an antique rug.  There are brass lights attached to the headboard uprights which we understand are functional. The canape is carved wood with gilt elements. Truly a thing of wonder.   We are lead to believe that the commission for this bed was originally in excess of £10,000.   The bespoke box base and mattress are provided in lightly used and clean condition.
