This style of filter is popular for low flow rate, point of use applications such as on the feed to a water cooler, or a single drinking water tap. The use of granular carbon offers improved flow rates and a lower pressure drop compared to carbon block versions, with the added benefit of sediment reduction properties to reduce the chance of the filter becoming blocked. How Long Do These Inline Granular Carbon Filters Last?We recommend changing these filters every 6-12 months depending on the frequency of use.
