Suitable for use as either a single-stage filter for customers with low pH or acidic water and as a post-filter for a reverse osmosis system. These filters produce slightly alkaline water with a boosted mineral content, which is a healthier option for drinking water as it contributes to your recommended daily mineral intake (compared to water with a lower pH level). Designed to fit standard 10” and 20″ regular or large diameter filter housings, these cartridges feature a hard outer shell that encases the pH correction media. Please Note We Are Also Able To Offer Freestanding pH Correction Vessels Upon Request How Long Do These Juraperle pH Correction Filters Last?These filters contain media that dissolves into the water, when the media is almost depleted the filter needs replacing. How long this takes will depend on the pH of your water. The lower the pH of your water, the faster the media will be depleted. It is important to note that these filters need to be in regular use, as long periods of non-use can cause the media to solidify inside the cartridge which causes both a drop in pressure and performance.
