Description These Drain Interceptor plugs are designed to fit into the rodding eye on an Interceptor trap or Winsor trap. These interceptor traps were designed to prevent Rats invading private drainage systems from the public sewers also to stop foul odours venting around domestic property’s . If there is no plug fitted to the rodding eye the interceptor trap cannot stop rodents and the public sewer can vent into private drainage systems. The plug is made of stainless steel with an expandable rubber seal. They come in two sizes: 4 inch (100mm) and 3 inch (75mm). When ordering these please check the internal diameter of the rodding eye. There is a larger front plate to prevent the plug from going too far into the rodding eye, also there is a 1.5 meter stainless steel cable attached to the plug that is fixed to the chamber wall close to surface level and clips onto an eye hook supplied with each plug.
