INLINE LIMESCALE FILTERS Limescale & Corrosion Protection Excess limescale build-up can cause costly damage to appliances over time, even leading to premature breakdown if left unmanaged. Our Inline Limescale Filters are designed to be installed on the feed to your water-using appliances, protecting them against limescale and corrosion using a technology called polyphosphate. The filter is quick and easy to install and starts working immediately, with no loss of flow or pressure. Featuring 3/4″ BSP inlet and outlet connections (male threaded outlet, female threaded inlet) supplied with washers for a leak-free seal. How Long Do These Filters Last Between Refills?Each refill lasts for up to 30,000 litres before replacement crystals are required (depending on your water hardness and water quality). The polyphosphate crystals dissolve slowly over time, so should be visually checked every 1-2 months. Each refill uses approximately 160g of polyphosphate crystals.
