For most customers the Standard is an excellent choice, however the other valve types give additional flexibility for larger or more eco-conscious households. Standard: An excellent choice for most customers, with smart WRAS compliant metered Autotrol valve which controls regeneration cycles based on your water usage. High Flow: Everything that the Standard has to offer but with full bore connections and internal pipework, offering a 35% increase in flow. Ideal for homes with a Combi or Megaflow boiler. Eco: Everything that the Standard has to offer but with an upgraded valve and eco resin. Delivering 17% extra capacity between regenerations and a 40% saving on water usage. Water Softener Capacities The Royal comes in two different capacities, either 10 litre or 15 litre. This capacity is what determines how often the water softener will ‘regenerate’ or run its cleaning cycles. Below is an example of how often you can expect the softener to regenerate based on a water hardness of 300ppm. 10 Litre: Provides up to 1,667 litres of soft water before regenerating (recommended for properties with up to 4 occupants). 15 Litre: Provides up to 2,500 litres of soft water before regenerating (recommended for properties with up to 6 occupants). Selecting Installation Kit Installation kits are available at a discounted price when purchased alongside a water softener. These kits contain everything required for installation, including flexible inlet and outlet hoses, bypass set, drain hose and a water hardness test. No Installation Kit: For customers who are looking to hard plumb in their water softener, or if the connections are already in place from an existing softener. 15mm Standard: Suitable choice for 15mm pipework and conventional gravity fed or indirect heating system (cold water tank in loft and hot water cylinder). 15mm Full Flow: For customers with 15mm pipework but have a combi boiler, direct system or an unvented hot water cylinder. 22mm Full Flow: Suitable customers with larger 22mm pipework (commonly found in newer properties under 10 years old).
