MANUAL BACKWASHING VESSELS Manually Operated Backwashing Manual backwashing vessels allow you to change the direction of flow through the media, backwashing it to remove sediment, bacteria and debris. Supplied as a partially assembled kit with Runxin F56A manual backwashing valve (1″ BSP), base seal ring, three 1” washers, riser tube, distribution system and an empty water treatment vessel. The empty vessel can be filled with your choice of media depending on the application, such as for pH correction, water softening or sediment control. Vessels are available in various sizes, ranging from 38.9L to 250L in capacity. How Often Do I Need To Perform A Backwash?The backwash frequency depends on the media you choose to fill the vessel with.
