CRYSTAL RIGHT EVOLVE SYSTEMS Iron, Manganese & Hardness Crystal Right systems are popular for the treatment of soluble iron, manganese and hardness in private water supplies. It works using ion-exchange technology and is regenerated using a brine solution. Crystal Right works best on clear water (where iron and manganese are in dissolved form) and we offer the choice of CR100 or CR200 media depending on the pH of your water. Our systems feature the market leading Evolve valve which not only controls regeneration but also features a built-in chlorine generator that produces up to 20ppm of chlorine to disinfect the media, reducing iron and sulphur bacteria. With Crystal Right media the backwashing flow rate is lower than the service flow rate, meaning there are no specific requirements for pumps. How Often Do I Need To Replace The Crystal Right Media?When used appropriately the media has a lifetime of over 20 years, with some systems running for 35 years with the original media.
